About Me
Andrea Geisinger
Originally from Switzerland, I call San Francisco Bay home for the last 25+ years.
My happy place is in on and around the ocean, and being in nature. I've been sailing all over Europe and along the Pacific West Coast from Mexico to Canada for 30+ years.
I started my career as a professional mariner in 2017. I currently hold a USCG 100t Master’s license.
I divide my time between operating a private high-speed commuter ferry, teaching sailing, and working on SF Bay cruise boats.
After sailing from San Francisco to Hawaii and onward to Alaska in 2022, I fell in love with Alaska’s raw, untouched nature.
